A Simple Balance Test June 13, 2006

Step #1: Stand on one leg.
Step #2: Change your pants (skivvies included) without putting your leg down.

How’d you do? Today was the first day I’ve done it without needing to sit down during the process. I’ve got a feeling that I’ll be a born master of the stork pose during my next yoga class.

I love your blog! I broke my ankle 6 weeks ago and hopefully have the second cast removed tomorrow. I had to read your blog on stairs to my husband as I am sure he thought I was a wimp when it came to stairs. He just kept saying “hop up…hop up”. I felt like an idiot but chose to go up and down the stairs on my butt. I felt a lot safer!

I can’t tell you how much better I feel just knowing that someone else has gone through the same thing. They say laughter is the best medicine……now I know that is true!

Thank you once again for writing this very funny blog.
